The Dade Art Educators Association is here to bring us together as one voice to advocate the many challenges that face us today. Your support and service are more important than ever to maintain the high standards of art education in Miami-Dade County. As you browse through our website, you’ll see many ways in which DAEA can support your and your students work.  We invite you to join DAEA, so that we can work with others toward common goals.

  • An opportunity for members to have a voice in the direction of art education, to act on issues affecting our work.
  • Opportunities to make presentations, conduct workshops, and attend workshops exclusive to members only.
  • Publications, such as DAEA's quartaly newsletter, that shares activities, honors of members, curriculum ideas, and more.
    Submissions of articles from members are encouraged.
  • Our Website offers information that’s wide in scope, and contains links to many sites of special interest to members.
  • An Awards Program that recognizes excellence in the work of art educators and the achievement of students.
    Awardees are recognized at exhibitions, the newsletter,on the website, and in other appropriate listings.
  • Exhibitions of our members art work through adjudicated shows that are displayed throughout prestigious cultural centers in Miami-Dade County.
  • Opportunity to become an advocate in a leadership role by serving on our board or participating in one of our many committees.
